Joe Trovato

Joe started playing softball in 1969 with the Poorhouse Mets.  Throughout the 1980’s Joe played and coached in the Syracuse City, Baldwinsville and Camillus adult leagues.

In 1985 is when Joe started playing and coaching in the Baldwinsville league.  In 1986 he took over the Baldwinsville league as President and Secretary.  He held those positions until he retired in 2008.  Upon initial takeover of the league there were 40 teams, at the end of Joe’s tenure there were 80 men's and women's teams participating in what had become a very popular and competitive league.

Joe is currently retired from the City of Syracuse Parks Department, while employed with the Parks Department, Joe groomed and maintained their fields for 10 years.
