Elected : USSSA New York Hall Of Fame in 2011
Inducted : March 2012, Islandia, NY

Kevin is a long standing League Director, Board Member and player with the Amherst Adult Softball League. Born and raised in WNY, Kevin has been involved with softball since 1975 and with the Amherst league since 1980. The Amherst Adult Softball League consists of 120 teams with men's, coed and fall leagues playing from May into November each season. Kevin has been an integral part of the league's steady growth.

Kevin's affiliation with the Amherst Adult Softball League began in 1980 as a player, playing with several teams over various league nights and the fall season. Shortly after joining the league in 1980, he became active in the league's organization and management, taking on the lead role as League Director for both summer and fall softball. He has played a key role in the growth and development of what is widely considered to be the premier league in WNY. The Amherst Adult Softball league is the preferred league in WNY primarily because of it's well maintained and lit playing fields, availability of competition for all levels of teams and players and the strength of the league's organizational attributes and experienced Board of Director's. The league has evolved over the years to utilizing on-line scheduling, standings and statistics maintenance as well as communicating league news, rain out, & re-scheduling information and a "sub" player list.

In addition to his continued participation as a League Director, Kevin still plays competitively at age 57 and enjoys playing on teams with his two adult sons.
Kevin has also been active with youth hockey, as a coach and administrator for the past 27 years.

Kevin is truly appreciative of all the support provided him over the many years from all the players, umpires, fellow administrators, family and in particular to Frank Sykes, his softball mentor, for allowing him the opportunity to contribute
