Elected : USSSA New York Hall Of Fame in 2019
Inducted : October 2021, Syracuse, NY
Becky is a native of Syracuse, NY and graduated from Liverpool High School in 1988. She has been a courier for DHL for 13 years, as well as a Tour Bus and Limo driver for many years.
Becky’s softball career began at age of 16 starting in the City League. She has played in numerous women’s and coed leagues over the last 33 years, including for City, Hopkins, Clay and Cortland. Becky also led Uncle Ed’s women’s team for the last 20+ years.
Tournament ball was where Becky found her niche and played on many teams throughout the years. Whether it was playing barefoot at Panther Lake , or on fields throughout the Northeast, NC or FL, she has won several championships at local, state and regional levels. Becky could be most known for her versatility on the field. She can play any position with confidence, a tad bit of cockiness and the ability to fully back it up. Offensively, she can put the ball anywhere the team needed her to and continues to be one of the most sought-after players for teams looking to build a roster.
Becky was inducted in 2008 as a member of the USSSA La Pizzaria women’s tournament team who dominated sports for many years. She takes incredible pride playing alongside her sister, Patti, for most of that time and takes full credit for teaching her everything she knows. Becky continues to rave about the talent of the women that surrounded her on the field, the friendships built along the way and the memories that will last a lifetime. She is incredibly humbled and thankful to the USSSA Hall of Fame representatives for such an honor
