I started playing MCDYA slow pitch at age 5 in 1984. I continued throughout my school years
until 1997. I played fastpitch travel on Fire and Ice from 1993 – 1998. I played in college at
Briarcliffe but only for one full year due to an ACL injury in the fall of my sophomore year. I
went back to Slow Pitch around 2002 in Amityville, Lindenhurst, and Brookhaven town leagues.
I then played women’s and coed with Island Slow Pitch and Empire Softball.
I started my tournament years in 2006-2007 with Women C L.I. Tides coached by Bobby
DeAngelis. The team changed their name to L.I Hurricanes in 2011. I continued playing for
Bobby till 2017. I then went and played Women’s D with AOB out of NJ. I played AOB
Women’s D, C, and B till 2019. I finished the 2019 season playing with women’s C CT Storm. I
finished my women’s career playing with CT team Bobby Pins Women’s B. Through those years
I have won All-Tournament, All-World Team, and Offensive and Defensive MVPs. My teams
won many State and National Tournaments. I placed 2n at the USSSA Worlds with the
Hurricanes, 2012 and 3rd in 2014. I placed 2nd at the Worlds with AOB in 2018.
My coed years started in 2012 with Billy Batts at the Mixed E. I played E, D, and C with them
until 2015. Then I played Hot Soup in 2015 at Mixed C. In 2016, I played with Can’t Even,
Mixed C. I ended my coed career with Stamford Coed at Mixed C. Throughout those years, our
teams won many state and national tournaments. I won several individual awards. The highlight
being winning Mixed E Coed Worlds in 2012, Mixed D Coed Worlds in 2013, 2nd in Coed C
Worlds in 2014 and 2015, and 3rd in 2016.
