Gina is a native of Central New York, the youngest of Kenneth and Jeannette Burrows’ 6 children. Gina was a school counselor for 20 years before a career change led her to her current position as a Licensed Real Estate Saleperson for Keller Williams.
Gina has always had a passion for all sports. She was a graduate of Fayette-Manlius High School where she excelled in Soccer, Basketball, Softball and Swimming, She went on to Hardwick College where she played Soccer, Basketball and Lacrosse. She received All-American honors in both Soccer and Basketball as well as State honors in Lacrosse. She was the 1st female inducted into the Hartwick Athletic Hall of Fame
It was during the summer in college that Gina started playing slow-pitch softball. This was the start of a 25 year span of playing in City and County leagues and competitive travel team ball. Some of the most rewarding experiences were traveling throughout the Northeast, especially for State and Regional tournaments. She feels fortunate to have played with and against some of the best pylaers this game has seen...but most of all it is the lasting relationships and camaraderie amongst teammates and opponents that mean the most to her.
