Elected : USSSA New York Hall Of Fame in 2005
Inducted : April 2006, Ronkonkoma, NY.

Jonnah, who resides in Milton, New York, was one of the greatest all-round athletes in the country when she graduated Marlboro High School in 1984. She was offered over 200 scholarships to Division I schools to play basketball and softball. In 1984, she was the first high school athlete to receive the prestigious Olympiad Award, given to one amateur athlete chosen by A panel of former Gold Medalist Olympians.

In softball, Jonnah played USSSA for 17 years, her career cut short by a shoulder injury. Jonnah was a consistent .650 lead off hitter with impeccable speed. She was considered one of the most feared base runners in the game, but her defense is what made her exhilarating. She would make plays at shortstop and 3rd base that no one else could come close to making.

Jonnah has received more than 50 all-tournament, defensive and most valuable player awards, throughout her playing days. She was one of the fiercest competitors to play the game.

Jonnah graduated from SUNY Cortland in 1988. She is in her 18th year as a physical education teacher in the Marlboro Central School District. She has also compiled close to 500 wins as a coach. From 1993-2001, she surpassed 200 wins at Division I Marist College. Many of her high school teams have made it to the final four.
