Kim was a four sport athlete at Greece Athena High School, she was All Monroe County for Softball, Soccer, Basketball and Volleyball all four years. She started playing USSSA softball at the age of 15 with Dave's Mobile travel team which was coached by Duane McCoy. She was promoted to the Pace Electronics womens team, and became the youngest starting player , playing the left center field position.
Kim was nominated for Women Athlete of the Year for Manufacturer Hanover . She was a member of the World Champion Pace team and won the MVP, as well as being on the All World team in the Womens AAA World Tournament in Detroit, Michigan. She batted 565 in the tournament at the age of 17.
Kim's athletic achievements earned her full scholarships at Cazenovia and Nazareth Colleges for softball, soccer, basketball and volleyball.
Kim thanks her coach for all she has learned and for getting the chance to have played with the greatest players in the world.
