Lisa graduated from Ithaca College in 1983 but actually started her softball career in 1977 with 'Hutley's Chasers', one of the top teams in the country during the 70's. She continued her career in 1982 with the 'County Sports Mice' team, coached by Bob DeAngelis. She enjoyed great success with the Mice, winning 4 National Championships and playing with them for 20 years, until the Mice retired as a team in 2001. She has continued her career and is currently playing with the 'Long Island Tides'.
Lisa, a career .580 hitter, with power to all fields, prides herself in her all around ability to hit line drives to all fields. One of the most durable players, she has never missed a game in her 27 year career due to injury. Lisa, who loves to play defense, has proven to be one of the top 1st baseman in the country (her natural position) but has played 3rd base for the past 7 years. Lisa, along with her Mice teammates were a part of USSSA history for women's softball as they participated in the very 1st World Series Tournament in 1988. The Mice finished 2nd in the country as they lost to powerhouse Empress Chili in the final game.
Lisa has participated in 27 consecutive National Tournaments and was named 'Long Island Player of the Year' in 1995 and 1997. She has also earned numerous MVP and All-Tournament honors and has been named to the All-World Team 14 times while hitting .610 during National Tournaments.
