Elected : USSSA New York Hall Of Fame in 2013
Inducted : 2014, Syracuse, NY
Patti was born in Syracuse in 1966 and has lived in the area her entire life. She is a graduate of Liverpool High School and St. Joseph’s School of Nursing.
Patti has been playing softball since the mid 1980’s and has played in several city and county leagues and on a number of competitive tournament teams, both women and coed divisions. Most recently she has been playing with Uncle Ed’s. She is 1 of 7 siblings and has enjoyed playing with her sister Becky on a majority of her teams. Her brother Mark has also been her teammate on occasion.
In 2008, Patti was inducted with her La Pizzeria women’s tournament team into the New York State USSSA Hall of Fame. She played shortstop and batted anywhere in the middle of the lineup looking for a shot up the middle or down one of the lines. She traveled extensively with her teammates on most weekends of the summer for several years…Panther Lake, Rochester HOTs, Ogdensburg, Canastota, States in Newburg and Regionals all throughout the Northeast. Patti feels at home on any infield, and she has demonstrated her leadership often by making an outstanding play in a crucial moment or keeping the team loose with a timely quip.
Patti currently works in Human Resources for a Liverpool company and is still playing softball once or twice a week. She is thankful to the Hall for this honor and for all the great friends she has made over the years playing ball.
