Patty was twice named All-World, while her teams captured the Women's Class 'A' World Championship. She was inducted into the USSSA National Hall of Fame in the Female Player Category.
A native of Rochester, New York, the power-hitting catcher compiled a .510 lifetime batting average with over 800 Home Runs. During her career, Patty was one of the most feared batters ever to play in the Women's program.
Patty played for Muxworthy's, PACE and the Wintonaire teams from Rochester, New York. Muxworth's won the World Title in 1972 and PACE won it in 1977. Patty played with the Fighting Green and Gold from 1969-1979 a team that was a consistent national women's power. Along with catching, Patty also played outfield and first base, and compiled an 18-0 record as a pitcher.
