I would like to thank all my team mates for all the great years of fun, good competition and great friendships’ because it is all about the team and not the individual.
Special thanks to my loving Dad, who passed 25 years ago but was my first coach and an awesome dad who supported us by driving to many games, travelled with us (as an assistant coach) and never said girls can’t play sports. Thanks to my sister Carol (Sissy) for playing by my side for many years, and who in my estimation was one of the best shortstops in the country and to my brother Steve, for keeping stats and following the team for many years and to the rest of the family for being great cheerleaders. Finally, the most important thanks is to my Mom (Helen) for without acquiring her talent we would not have been as successful as we were. She was a great athlete and still at 86 is an avid golfer. She was by my Dad’s side for all those years we played this wonderful game of softball. Thanks Mom-you are awesome!!!
