Al Gordon

Elected : USSSA New York Hall Of Fame in 2008

Al is a Brookhaven Town resident and continues to be involved in the Brookhaven Town Softball Program.

He started as a player in the league in 1982 and finally retired in 2000. Al also played in the Long Island Post Office league. At present, Al is an Automation Specialist for the United States Postal Service.

After being away from the game for two years, Al visited the Brookhaven Town softball Office and started working at various fields as a scorer in the adult softball program.

Al was presented the Dennis Xenos Scorer of the Year award in 2003.

Al has been very involved in many of the USSSA tournaments hosted by Brookhaven Town on Long Island.

He is a former baseball coach for two little leagues. Affectionately known as "Postal Al"
