Kenneth Hawkins

Ken has been married to Kathie for almost 37 years.  They  have 3 beautiful children.  Sam lives in Dana Point, California; Jane lives in Manhattan, Kansas; and Ben lives in Medford, Long Island and has provided Ken and Kathie with two grandsons.

Ken started his involvement with the Brookhaven Recreation Department in the early ‘70’s as a summer recreation Counselor and Baseball scorekeeper and then a Brookhaven Softball scorekeeper.  All three of his children were also scorekeepers during their school years.

Ken retired after 33 years as an Attendance Teacher for the William Floyd School system on Long Island, New York in 2007.

Ken was an avid softball player and runner and now enjoys working out and partaking in “spinning” classes at a local gym.

He is employed as a part time work for ADESA, an auto auction company on Long Island.  He and his wife are very involved in volunteering at other local church and they hope to continue to travel this beautiful country of ours.
