Bob has played softball in Syracuse and Onondaga County leagues with family and friends for over 20 years. His teams were fortunate enough to win 7 City Championships, 4 County Championships amd 2 City/County Championships, along with over 20 Tournament Championships.

Softball created a venue for Bob to compete with the best athletes in the Syracuse area, meet some great people and make lifelong friends.Outside of softball he played football and baseball at Ithaca College, winning the National Championship in both sports in the same year.  He participated in 4 National Championships in 2 consecutive years. He was named the Ithaca College Athlete of the Year for 1982, was named to the 1st team ECACin both fottball and baseball and is a Member of the Ithaca College Hall of Fame as well as the Greater Syracuse Sports Hall of Fame.
