Brett Helmer

Brett was born in Cicero, New York in 1971. He attended West Canada High School in Newport, New York and is a graduate of Eastern Connecticut State University with a degree in Education.

Brett is the Promotions Manager for Easton Sports, where one of his jobs is to work with teams that are sponsored by Easton.

Brett began playing slow pitch softball in 1988. He has played in 16 USSSA World Series, including 10 straight Mens Major World Series from 1997 - 2006. Brett is a member of 12 National Championship Teams, including 3 USSSA World Titles (1988 USSSA AA, Hague/TPS), (2004 USSSA Men's Major, Dan Smith Easton), (2006 USSSA Conference Worlds, Bell Corp Easton), Brett is also a 26 time All World Team selection, with 7 times being on the USSSA Men's Major World Series All Tournament Teams. He was also the 2006 USSSA Conference Championship MVP.

Brett has been the leader in Home Runs, RBI's, Hits and Batting Average from 2000- 2006 in the USSSA World Series. He is a 4 time National Batting Champion 1999 (Team Easton), 2000 (Bell Corp Easton), 2002 (Dan Smith Easton) and 2005 (Bell Corp Easton). Brett was National Player of the Year in 1999 while playing for Team Easton.
