Elected : USSSA New York Hall Of Fame in 2009

Earl was born in 1961, the eldest of seven children, He participated in sports at a early age and his love of sports came from watching his family, particularly his Mother ' Mamie Blackmon, along with Aunt Carolyn Adams and Uncle Charlie Walker play softball on summer league teams.
Earl played sports throughout his High school career at Webster Schroeder High School but excelled in baseball. After High school, he continued playing baseball at Monroe Community College playing for legendary Coach - Dave Chamberlain. There he played shortstop and won the prestigious David Johns Award. Earl continued his education at Southern University in Baton Rouge, LA. It was at this time that he was reluctantly moved from shortstop to centerfield.
Earl started playing softball with Pace Electronics in 1988 to the present. During his 20+ years with Pace the team has won 9 USSSA 'Black American World' Titles and Earl has won numerous awards and been selected to several 'All Tournament Teams'.
Earl would like to acknowledge and thank Mr. Patrick Kehoe and all of the Pace Family for a lifetime of memories and friendship and also congratulate all of this year's Hall of Fame Inductees.
