Jeff was born in 1968 in Oswego, NY. He attended Oswego High School were he played football and was an All-State Baseball player.
In 1987, Jeff played with his brother Dave and other Central New York players on the A.F.Pristera Slow Pitch Team. This was a tournament team that played in money tournaments each weekend and is were Jeff was able to show his talent. His abilities were noticed by Pace/TPS from Rochester, New York, which played in the A/AA division. This was the start of a pretty impressive slow pitch career, which is still going strong, with Jeff winning the 2007 batting average and offensive player awards in Conference USSSA playing for Resmondo's
Jeff, in addition to Pace and Resmondo's, has played on several of the top teams in slow pitch - Steele's Sports, So Jern/TPS, Team TPS, Long Haul/Taylor Bros/Shencorp/TPS, while playing for 19 World Championship teams.
Jeff is a 26 time All World Team Member with 8 World Series MVP titles. He has been a 4 time Player of the Year and National Home Run Champ. Jeff is also one of only four players to ever win the Gram Slam Twice.
Jeff was inducted into the USSSA National Hall of Fame in November of 2007 and is also a member of the NSA National Hall of Fame. He is a member of the 1990's all decade team and a Honorable Mention on the All Century Team.
