Pat is a life long resident of Syracuse, NY while his daughter, Ashley currently resides near
Pittsburgh, PA. Pat has also been a financial analyst at National Grid for the past 34 years.
In 1975, Pat graduated from North Syracuse High School where he achieved academic
honors from the National Honors Society as well as being an All American outfielder on
the Worth Sports Collegiate baseball team.
Pat graduated from LeMoyne College in 1979 with a Bachelor of Science degree in
Business where he again achieved All American honors as a member of the American
College Baseball Coaches team. Pat also played in two College World Series while his
team finished third in the nation in 1979. Pat’s highlight moment in the1979 Series was a
game winning three run homerun defeating New Haven, CT.
Pat will be entering his 34” year of playing USSSA softball (in 2014) whose teams
throughout the years were primarily sponsored by Bally’s, Champions Fitness, Jreck and
Deli-Boy. Pat’s teams appeared in several USSSA World Series events finishing third in
the country in 1997 in addition to winning several County, City of Syracuse, New York
State and National Invitational Tournament championships while garnering several USSSA
All-Tournament team awards along the way.
In 2014, Pat continues to play senior softball on a national level with the Fat Nancy’ s/
Gubiotti team while still getting enjoyment from working at his craft.
Finally, Pat would like to thank his family, teammates and coaches past and present while
recognizing the wonderful friendships that have developed throughout the years in softball as
his biggest accomplishment to date.
