Ray Rollins

 

Elected : USSSA New York Hall Of Fame in 2014
Inducted : March 2015, Ronkonkoma, NY.

Ray was born January 12, 1958 in Brooklyn, NY and attended Bayside High School were he graduated in 1976.  He then attended School of Visual Arts and graduated with B.A in 1980.

While playing for Telco, the team won 5 straight Industrial Nationals - Worlds.  The NY Telco team played at the Industrial “A” level.  From 1996 -2000, the team won every tournament in the Industrial Division.  Ray was named the Tournament MVP in the 1998 Championship.

Ray played for many teams over his career:

1999 - Hit-N-Run at the A/B level

2007 - 35& over Major World Champions and was named the Tournament MVP

2008 - 40& over World Champions with Magic

2009 - 5th Place C Worlds with Rochester Athletic Club

2011 - C State MVP with Dutch Girls

2008 - Pitched in the B Worlds with Magic at the age of 50

Ray amassed 30 plus Tournament MVP awards between 1990 - 2012
