For the last 30 plus years Robert Fortier, the Creator of Team Dawg and known to most by his nick-name "Bobby-Dawg" has played USSSA softball with the following top teams in the Northeast: Team Dawg / Worth, Desperado's, SSC Carting, New York Shields, New York Metro, and Radcliffe Funding.

During this time he played in and won:

(12) New York State Qualifiers, (8) New York State Championships, (10) N.I.T. Championships, (1) USSSA National title in 1998, USSSA Men's Masters World Tournament in Sterling Heights, Michigan, with Radcliff Funding. While participating in these tournaments, Bobby-Dawg picked up several Gold Gloves, Most Valuable Player Awards, Batting Titles and All-Tournament selections as well as an All World selection in the 1998 World Championship.

Playing with Team Dawg / Worth Sports, Bobby was part of a team that continued to keep a top ranking in the north east USSSA for many years, winning the New York State Championship(s) 5 times. With Eight consecutive trips to the World Tournaments, Team Dawg / Worth Sports had a top 10 and a top 5 finish.

Playing locally (Smithtown, Huntington, and Brookhaven Leagues) Bobby has played for more than 50 league and playoff championship teams with a life time batting average over .600.

Bobby's Best Softball Moment? 'There isn't a moment, it's been a life!' Winning the World Series in 1998 / All World selection. Hitting .833, M.V.P. honors in six games during an N.I.T. I consider my personal best! Being Team Dawg / Worth with Thomas Emde for all those years and all my extended family from that time in my life.
