Tony Musso

Elected : USSSA New York Hall Of Fame in 2008
Inducted : March 2009, Islandia, NY

Tony was born, raised, and still resides in eastern Long Island with his wife Diane and two children, Cody and Lacey. In 1971 Tony graduated from Northwestern State University with a degree in Health and Physical Education. During his thirty four year teaching career, Tony coached many sports. One of his proudest moments was when his 1985 Comsewogue girls Softball Team won the very first "A" state title.

For the last thirty eight years Tony has received many all tournament and M.V.P. honors. His teams over the years, such as, Hawkins and Spence, Captain Bens, Super Swings, Rays, Seltmann, Cobb & Bryant Worth, and many others have won numerous tournaments, state titles and a handful of National Championships.

Tony's ability to hit line to line, setting the table for the big boys, and his ability to pitch has kept him playing even to this day. He still plays senior softball locally and nationally. He is a U.S.S.S.A . umpire and coaches women's softball at a local college.

His success is due in large to the talented teammates that he has had the good fortune to have played with over the years and the fact that U.S.S.S.A . is a perfect fit for his style of play.
