Ed, along with longtime friend, Robert Fortier, created the highly acclaimed character education children’s books and elementary school workshops known as Team Dawg. For the past 15 years they have proudly sponsored not only USSSA teams but youth sports teams in baseball, softball, soccer and volleyball as well.

Ed is a lifelong Little League coach in his local community and has volunteered countless hours teaching the game of baseball to players of all ages. He is a true role model to children

Ed was born and raised in West Islip, N.Y. and currently resides in Huntington, NY. Ed has been married for 25 years to his wife, Angela and is the proud father of two boys, Steven (age 22) and Jason (age 16). He has worked in the retail food industry for 33 years, all with the same company

Ed loves the game as much as anyone and although he only played the game for a relatively short period of time, it had a huge impact on his life. The game of softball was the driving force in meeting Robert and creating Team Dawg
