Rick Schiffhauer

 

Elected : USSSA New York Hall Of Fame in 2012
Inducted : March 2013, Rochester, NY
 

Rick is from Rochester, NY also known as “Schifty”. In USSSA, his teams have won over 27 NIT’s , 5 state titles, 2 Nationals and  4 time have finished in the top ten at both the D and C USSSA World Series events. 

 

In 2011 his C team went to SheerbrookeQuebec and won the La PIF Classiquebeating Pharmapar/Vacances/Transat, who had players from Team Canada, 15-5 in the finals.

 

Rick would like to first of all thank his late father Robert SchiffhauerSrfor instilling a love of the game in him as a youth. His wife Karen, for encouraging him to participate in a game that he loves so much. His children, Matt, Erin, Rickie, Riley and Kendall for their support and understanding.

 Also he would like to thank three of his players that have always been with him FaustoRamirez “Sto”. Steve Smith “Smitty” and Steve Kuss“Peanut”. He would also like to thank all the players that have ever worn the RAC colors over the years.

 

Last but not least he would like to thank the USSSA directors and all the softball players, managers and sponsors that keep this great game alive by participating.
