Steve played 11 years of Pro Baseball where he spent part of all of 4 years in the Major League.
After his time in baseball, he opened the Change of Pace bar. The bar has been here now for 42
years. As a sports bar, The Change of Pace has sponsored teams in several leagues throughout the
city of Syracuse and Onondaga county. Their sponsorship has consisted of several men’s and
women’s teams at all levels of competition.
Sponsoring these teams has contributed to their success as well as created lifelong friends.
Currently Steve resides in Baldwinsville with his wife of 51 years. They have two children and
four grandchildren.
Steve would like to thank NYS USSSA and the Hall of Fame Committee for this honor. He also
wants to thank those players that represented the Change of Pace over the year.
