Tom Emde

Elected : USSSA New York Hall Of Fame in 2011

Tom lives on Long Island and began playing softball in 1988. In addition to playing softball, Tom has helped sponsor, play, coach and manage teams for almost 25 years. He started playing USSSA softball over 20 years ago – his teams have won over 1000 games, many were NITs and States.

His teams have finished in the top ten twice at the worlds. He extends a special thanks to his father Tom EmdeSr. for helping him gain sponsors and managing his teams. Also, to the late Mike Turneyfrom Worth, Mike was a great friend and generous sponsor. Thanks to his partner in crime for 25 years, Bobby “Dawg” Fortier. And to all teammates, thank you for always giving 110% -- I could always count on them to play with class and respect for the game.

To my wife Jill for your unending support - thank you so much. And finally, my son Gavin you are the greatest gift ever received, I look forward to the day I can coach/manage/sponsor your team -- I love you so much.
