Bob is a lifelong resident of the Syracuse area, currently residing in Clay with his wife, Cindy.

Their family includes daughter Jennifer, her husband Eric and their beautiful daughter Morgan; daughter Elizabeth and her husband Ernest; and third daughter JoAnna, all living in Florida.

Bob started umpiring in 1990, after being a softball player for many years it seemed to be a logical transition.

Bob has traveled to Florida for the World Series Softball tournaments at Disney’s  Wide World of Sports for the last 9 years, usually working 2 of the tournament weekends.  Bob has worked multiple semi-final and final games in these tournaments.

Bob currently works at Excellus Blue Cross Blue Shield as a Systems Tech.  Bob is the Vice-President of the USSSA CNY Umpires Association, after being on the E-Board for 8 years.
