Joe was born August 8, 1948. He has spent his entire life living in Central New York. Joe and wife Anne have raised four children, Michael, Tara, Cori and Jordan and nine grandchildren Taylor, Mark, Tristan, Sam, Aslynn, Alexa, Kennedy, Emi, and Jason.
Education: Liverpool High School, NY, Telephone and Telegraph Electrical , Engineering Courses, American School of Drafting, New York State Bocees Teaching Certification,.
Employment: New York Telephone, General Electric, American School of Drafting, New York State Bocees: Syracuse Electronics Corp, Niagara Mohawk Power Corp. retiring in 2012 after 35 years of service.
Hobbies: Enjoyed Umpiring, Auto Racing, Skiing, Cycling, Playing Softball, Baseball, Traveling to different Major League Baseball Stadiums with his wife. Having coached his son and grandsons playing baseball.
Highlights: Joe traveled to USSSA National Conventions in New York City and in New Orleans where he sat on various committees supporting Frank Titone in acquiring a USSSA charter for the CNY Umpires Association.
Joe held positions as the Vice President and served on Board of directors of USSSA CNY Umpires Association for many years. One of the first USSSA umpires to Umpire for NCAA Division II Lemoyne College Women’s Fastpitch Softball league games. Umpired the USSSA World Series Corporate Tournament in Dearborn Michigan. Umpired numerous Central New York Softball Tournaments. Played in numerous CNY Softball Tournaments. Started the Fabius Baseball Academy. Held Vice President position and served on the board of directors for Central New York Baseball Association for many years.
