**Biography: Steven A. Sinopoli**

Born on June 11, 1956, in the Bronx, New York, I am married to Cynthia Sinopoli, and we currently reside in Riverhead, New York. I have been an umpire since 1983 and remain active in this role.

I retired after serving 20 years as a Correction Officer with the New York City Department of Corrections. Additionally, I am a retired Teamster, having worked as a delivery driver for Canada Dry, and I retired after nine years working in security for the William Floyd School District.

**Activities Include:**

- Played softball with the Department of Corrections, participating in police tournaments across the country for 14 years.

- Played softball in the Town of Brookhaven.

- Umpired at various levels, including the World Series in Florida, and the US Military Worlds in both Florida and Georgia.

- Umpired additional local tournaments in the Northeast for many years.

- Umpired and volunteered for numerous fundraisers for St. Jude and other charities.

**Additional Hobbies:**

- Playing senior softball

- Golf

- Swimming
